POI LAB performed a large-scale LED visual poi show at the Chunichi Dragons' “Ryujinsai 2018 – Tanabata Special” held at Nagoya Dome from July 6th to 8th, 2018.
This special performance featured a beautiful Tanabata-themed presentation, where POI LAB collaborated with 18 Cheer Dragons dancers, 100 audience members portraying the Milky Way, and mascots Shaolon and Paolon dressed as Orihime and Hikoboshi.
Adding even more excitement, team mascot Doala and special guest Tsubakuro also spun poi on stage. With a total of 28 LED visual poi sets in use, this performance marked POI LAB’s largest and the world’s most extensive poi production to date.
Thanks to the support of many volunteers who participated in rehearsals, we were able to test and simulate the full-scale performance in advance, ensuring a successful show in such a grand venue.
